Announcing My Next Book: Swamp Boy

I am excited to share a first look at my upcoming book project, Swamp Boy. This story is a chapter book designed for young readers who love adventure, nature, and the great outdoors.

The book follows a young boy living in the heart of the wetlands. When an invasive creature begins tearing apart the marsh banks and threatening the local town, he has to use his knowledge of the swamp to build clever traps, use traditional crafts, and protect his home before a massive tropical storm hits the basin.

The Visual Journey

I am currently working with an illustrator to bring this story to life with five custom illustrations. Readers will get to see everything from a peaceful morning in a wooden canoe to tight cypress tree tunnels and the secret details of the marsh wildlife.

The book is being formatted specifically in a classic 5" x 8" trim size, giving it a timeless hand-feel that is perfect for independent reading or reading aloud together.
